It's been forever it seems since we broke ground for the freedom tower and when you watch the spire being craned up, you are reminded of why. I had to post this. To be honest, my niece shot this. I missed it. I was on the other side of the floor. It was moving to me....This is the spire to be placed on top of the World Trade Center 1. The final point.

Terri and Riddick Bowe Wedding

I was in the middle of designing a new wedding website (www.ldvphotography.com) and was trying to organize my wedding photos. You'll never guess what I found...wedding photos of the once World Heavyweight Boxing Champ of the world, Riddick Bowe and his wife, Terri. It was such a fun night...Sugar Ray Leonard, Jr. Jr. was there... blast from the past...This was shot in classic old FILM!

I had the extreme pleasure of going on a cruise with family members for my niece's college graduation. All of us traveled together before, to Hawaii last year and so we knew we'd have the same amazing time. While out there as we were walking around at places we docked, I eyed some great backdrops and asked my family members to be my subjects. I'm thankful they agreed!

We were walking past this and my family was way ahead of me. Suddenly, I imagined this setup and screamed for them to come back. 

Vinny Barbarino was the perfect height for this shot. I knew he'd frame nicely and he did!

I was lucky to get Ashley to sit for me. I knew she'd be the shyest and look at her! Amazing!

Kacy wore these glasses at her graduation. Nice choice!

This is Ash, Kace and Vinny's mom. It's rare to get my cousin Liza to look in the direction of the camera. This was an off moment I caught her in! it was great!

Ashley got more comfortable, thank god. As I really love this shot!

Soraya and I love spending time with these people. It was incredibly hard to end this cruise.

I spent last weekend with some lovely friends. As we walked through the small town of Millbrook, New York while we were crossing a street, I looked to my right and saw this wall and thought what a great backdrop. So I asked my friends to sit in and voila, their upbeat selves made it so much better. Love it!

Shooting a family portrait

I had the pleasure of shooting a family portrait the other day, parents of Cindy Godoy and Wendy Rosa. Grandparents and their grandkids. I loved it. Everything works when you have great people to photograph. My prelight subject was so helpful and patient!!
